simply bake

Spring 2026

THE ASK:

simply bake, Upstate New York's newest micro bakery, had big ideas.. but needed a little help with recipe testing. while the oven pre-heated, they called me in to fold in some crucial ingredients: a logo, brand identity, website, and introductory social media strategy that will wow at the farmer's market.

THE ANSWER:
Tried and true, with just the good stuff. Inspired by.. well, simple bakes, we created an earthy yet crisp palette that warms the belly and soul. Paired with cozy, homemade bakes, you can practically smell the bread in the oven. Approachability was the key ingredient.

THE IMPACT:

Coming soon.

THE ASK:

CAKES body had a new, highly anticipated viral product ready to fly, and they were ready to go tits out.. I mean, secured.. for the launch. In a world of AI, they doubled down on supporting real life makers, and called me in to help with all things design for social content and eCommerce.

THE ANSWER:
When the world is full of the same old static, go back to the basics - in my case, a sketchbook and pencil! Through clips and stills of artistic expression, I created timeless illustrations of the products on real bodies, in real time. I also created basic contour sketches to illustrate their "hero hacks" while maintaining brand fluidity and model modesty.

THE IMPACT:

Graphics that stick grip! These assets were all over CAKES' social media campaign, and a constant reminder that real people are behind this product from inception to launch. The raw quality of the live sketches created intimacy with the consumer, and the "how-to" drawings were critical for a modest peak under the blouse - both securing skyrocketing sales.

THE ASK:

In the wake of a City-wide rebrand, the Amesbury Cultural Council tapped me to create a more cohesive brand identity, update website design and performance, enhance social media impact, and bridge an inter-generational gap.

THE ANSWER:
I let the community speak for itself. Through a more intentional brand palette, verbal simplicity, and text cohesion, I was able to emphasize the creativity of local artists, makers, and change-makers.

THE IMPACT:

In just a short time, The Amesbury Cultural Council was brought to the forefront of Amesbury news and conversation. Social media growth increased 60%, and the annual Amesbury Open Studios weekend had it's most successfully attended and fundraised year in its 29-year tenure.

AMESBURY POETRY MONTH

April 2025

NationalPoetryMonth-3.png

THE ASK:

A short campaign where the Cultural Council and Poet Laureate Program collided to celebrate National Poetry Month in a cozy, New England city.

THE ANSWER:
To breathe life through illustrations that dance like words on a page balanced by bold emphasis and imagery. I maintained the integrity of the Cultural Council's brand identity, but redirected the voice to reflect proud prose and vibrant local wordsmiths.

THE IMPACT:

Warmth and welcome were achieved and reflected across generations, and poetry events truly felt accessible for all residents of Amesbury and beyond. The first-ever Amesbury Poetry Fest was well-attended and celebrated in the creative community.

Kappa Delta Sigma

the light of knowledge we

seek and the flame of love.

an evergreen tree, a symbol of

wisdom and everlasting life.

friendship to remind us

that our circle is made

up of individuals each

joined to the other.

"let us all be friends"

THE ASK:

Figuring out where you belong can be a challenge, but learning about your future sisterhood doesn't have to be. A local sorority in need of a national-level organization's website, so the sisters of Kappa Delta Sigma turned to me to help digitize their values and accolades via a new website.

THE ANSWER:
A website where timeless meets modern, elegant meets bold, and future sisters meets those present and past. I merged graphic design with generations of images, perfectly finished with a voice of purpose and poise where friendship is evergreen.

THE IMPACT:

I created a place where college students find home and parents find peace -- process, purpose, and play for potential new members and connection, contacts, and careers for current sisters for a growing sisterhood.

THE ASK:

Stitched by Stemler, founded in 2016, needed help weaving together a logo and brand identity for their small business that made big impact.

THE ANSWER:
Using the coziest blues and purples, I stitched together a brand package that felt like the warmest of hugs. I mirrored the intricate weavings of knit work and embroidery, and the tiny details made all the difference.

THE IMPACT:

With confidence in the brand, Stitched by Stemler got the yarn ball rolling, hitting up craft fairs in PA and beyond. With philanthropy woven into the values, 10% of each sale goes back into fabric of the community.
